Final day in the NYC 6/20

Thursday was a slow moving day to start. I had homework and we did not have too much left that we needed to do! So after slowly making our way out, we started our day by hitting the highline. The high line are old raised rail tracks that have been turned into a walking area. They planted plants all around and have benches for people to relax on. Some people were up there having a picnic. It was nice.

After that we took the metro to the natural history museum. Super cool museum. Super ridiculous entrance. The smithsonian is free. You walk through security and then go on your way. Not in NYC. The met is technically free, as is the Nat history museum. But they make you wait in these ridiculous lines and have prices posted. However, in small print it says: suggested donation. Sneaky basterds. We waited in line for a free museum yesterday for 30 minutes. I'm sorry- that's absolutely ridiculous! However, there was a super cool google display of students making the google homepage!

After going through the museum we went through Central Park to get to the east side. From there we were on the hunt for pizza. We found a place called Roma's (thank you yelp!) and it was yummy! I got a slice of white pizza and him buffalo chicken pizza. We got 5 garlic knots and two bottles of water for $10. It was the cheapest meal ever!

We finally made it to the Jewish museum. Wonderful museum. So much stuff to see! But we moved a little quick bc it was time to get to YANKEE STADIUM!!!

Love the stadium. Didnt like the game. :( big loss. And of course the moment we sit down- a student sits behind us. As in a student from Florida. Who Aaron had this year! How does that even happen?????

But New York was wonderful, but I sure as heck would never live here. Too much all the time?  No thanks! I'll stick to wanting to live in Alexandria so I can travel into DC! :)
