Day 1 of many!

Well this morning we awoke at 5:30 to start our travels. We were super quick at getting up and packing the car. Hopefully, we didn't wake Kyle and Michaela! 

Once we were off, I made sure to jump into the drivers seat. I am hoping that made it so my shift is over for the day! Today and tomorrow are our two longest drives, so happy to get those done! While I drove today, Aaron carved himself a little cubby in the back to sleep. We didnt pack as much this year-- one less suitcase (yes! I am "sharing a suitcase-- see pic below), no comforters and only one laptop bag (which is dandy til we are at his parents and he can't tank bc I'm doing my research paper!). Awesomely, my bookbag is super full of master classes crap! And of course we forgot things such as: an umbrella, an atlas (a what?? Atlas? Shoot... That's what google maps is for!), auxiliary code (for all his NPR listening needs) and hoodies. So here is to sunny, dry weather! Oh and 3G coverage for google maps! 

So for those who were worried about our possible lack of beer drinking-- have no fear. We printed a brewery list, made by Aaron, that covers us for the first week and I printed our brewery passports. 27 breweries in Vermont! How many can we hit while we are there??? :) Already that may be my fav part of the trip (ok Rachel, second behind you!)! 

But that's all for now bc as Aaron told me: "We haven't done anything yet!"
