Today we spent our second day in NYC. I was pooped this morning. It's bc we are slowly getting old! 😃 just as we came downstairs this morning the hotel shuttle was just about to leave for penn station so that saved us ten minutes of walking-- which was nice for Aaron's old feet.
First stop was the MET! The met was just overwhelming. Wonderful- but overwhelming. We only stayed for a short time. However, they had a really cool special exhibit that was photographs from the civil war. It was very cool. But there was no photos allowed. :(
We then took a home to the Guggenheim. What a waste of time and money! Half the museum was closed but they still wanted to charge 12 a person. And after we went in it was modern art- which needless to say we do not like. So after ummmm 2 minutes in there we headed to the Jewish museum. Oh Jewish museum why are you only closed on Wednesdays? This was my third attempt at a Jewish museum in three cities and it has been closed every time. But we will go tomorrow.
We then walked to Rockefeller which I'm assuming is much cooler at Christmas time. Finally took a break in Bryant park which was huge, crowded and awesome. They had bocce courts, ping pong tables and I'm sure more but that's all we saw!
After hanging around we traveled to Brooklyn to meet my aunt Lisa at her school. We then went to east meadow to have dinner w her, uncle grant and the kids! We are heading back now on the rail! Tomorrow Jewish museum, Alice statue and natural history!
Oh yes we went to the NBC store and I took a pic w a giant Dwight Schrute!

I'm sorry...but did you say you're 'GETTING OLD'?????? Hush it woman! You're no where near 'getting old.' haha. It's 2013! Old is in the 90's now, duuuh! I can't wait to hear more about the MET! I want to go there desperately!! LOVE the photo with Dwight! He's is soo awesome! haha. Bryant Park sounds fab too! And you're gorgeous in the family photo!!! Adorable kiddos too:)! So glad you're having such a great time!! XO (PS SO EXCITED you're almost to Cape Cod:))!
